Precision, Focus and Pop Stars 🌟
Welcome to Sagittarius Season! The Sun has passed through the portal of darkness (aka Scorpio Season) and now we invoke a little light with the fiery energy of Sagittarius🔥
Between the US election and the Mars Pluto opposition - we had quite the spooky season. I think we are all ready to shift from the intense and moody waters of Scorpio into the fiery and optimistic energy of Sagittarius.
Mutable Fire 🧨
Mutable energy is changeable, adaptable, and always on the move. Mutable signs carry us from one season to the next, the liminal spaces. Mutable signs(Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces) are magicians and alchemists, they can play with elements and create something entirely new. They are great at change. They can go with the flow. They are shapeshifters.
Fire is associated with destruction, creation, creativity and vitality. Fire signs are spicy, passionate and intense. They come on strong. They get shit done. They don’t really want to hear your opinion. They act fast and deal with the consequences later. They are bold, unapologetic and not afraid to take risks.
Mutable fire charismatic. It can wear a lot of different hats. It’s the sales person who draws you in and spins a great story, keeps you captivated and before you know it you’re buying what they’re selling because you’ve fallen in love with their charisma.
The Pop Star 🌟
I’ve noticed that SO MANY musicians, specifically pop stars, have a Sun in Sagittarius - the way they shine (sun) is through creative energy, charisma (fire) and music that is fun, optimistic and raises your energy or spirit.
Some examples are: Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Brittany Spears, Tina Turner, Billie Eilish, Jay Z, Christina Aguilera, Sia, DJ Khaled, just to name a few!
Sagittarius isn’t all surface level either, it’s the philosopher and explorer. Gemini (the opposing sign of Sag) is all about learning and knowledge, where Sagittarius is all about wisdom and understanding. These signs represent how we learn, gather information, apply it to our everyday experience in order to gain wisdom.
How do we turn knowledge into wisdom? Through experience. That’s why Sag wants to travel the world, they want to experience other cultures, they want to understand how other people live and see the world through their eyes. They want to read all about culture, religion and spirituality so they can really understand why. Why we are here, Sagittarius wants to know the keys to the universe. They want to connect with a higher power beyond the mundane, they want to channel that universal energy into art and feel the sensation of that energy through their system.

The symbol of Sagittarius is the archer: think precision, practice and focus. Shooting and hitting your mark. What is your target for the next 30 days? What are you going to do to hit your mark? When are you going to practice? What is the main focus?
2025: Universal 9 Year 📆
As we close out 2024, I’m reflecting on the themes of the year.
2024 was an “8” year: The Tarot card was Strength - the themes were courage, compassion and building structures that are stable and sound. 8 brings a heavy focus on finances and the economy.
2025 will be a “9” year: The Tarot card is The Hermit - it will be an year of introspection, alignment and release that will help us to let go and complete cycles and projects. 9 brings a heavy focus on endings.
Next month, I will dive deeper into the upcoming year and I’m excited to announce that Allie, my numerology bff, will be sharing the details on the number 9 and what it means for the collective.

Jupiter in Gemini (mixed information)
Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius is all about optimism and expansion. Also known as the “great benefic” - Jupiter is associated with luck, abundance and good fortune. Not all Jupiter transits are a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, Jupiter can also challenge us if we take the energy too far - unrealistically optimistic, out of touch, delusional, and spiritual bypassing are some of the ways Jupiter can show up in a negative way.
Jupiter is currently in Gemini - opposite Sagittarius- so this season we can also pay attention to the themes coming up in the area of our chart that contains Gemini. Gemini is all about information and learning and we are seeing information overload right now! I think this is a time where there is a lot of misinfomation being spread, or opinion being presented as fact.
One example of this I’m seeing is with the political divide after the US election. I see a lot of assumptions happening - assuming that those who voted for a particular party stand by a certain set of beliefs that we associate with that candidate/party.
We live in a time when every feed on our phone, including news and shopping are all meant to reinforce our beliefs. Can we assume that if everything we see tells us Trump is a monster, that the same is true for his supporters? I can only imagine the horror stories told about “crazy liberals”. This is another reason I think we really need to try to take the time to understand another person’s point of view, because the information they consume can be completely and radically different than you!
On a more positive note, Jupiter in Gemini can help us with communication, networking and expanding our social life. Gemini is all about the local community, so the positive affect of this transit can be connecting with your friends and neighbors and getting involved! This season is a great time to invite your neighbors over for a bonfire, donate your time to a local event or just chat it up with that person you see in the coffee shop everyday. If you are writing, publishing or wanting to learn a new skill, this is a great transit to to go for it!
Tarot: Temperance
The tarot card associated with Sag is Temperance, which feels like the antidote to Jupiter’s over the top expansion. Temperance teaches us the middle way, how to balance, blend and alchemize.
Whether you are coming together with a blended family or mixing up new recipes for the holidays, how can you invite the energy of Temperance?
Maybe we need to be aware of our consumption - food, alcohol, shopping all go into overdrive during the holidays, but Temperance offers us some boundaries. I also see this card come up in readings as a “guardian angel” type of energy- often protecting us from things we can not predict or see.

🏹 Nov 21 : Sun enters Sag - The Sun enters Sag on Jupiter’s Day at 3:30pm EST - hopefully we will start to feel a little lift as we move from water to fire.
🔙 Nov 25: Mercury rx 9:42pm 22° Sag - Time to focus on the (RE) - rework, review, rest, restore - with Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius we will be reviewing the themes associated with Sagittarius - philosophy, travel and exploration - book lots of extra time if you are traveling!!
🌚 Dec 1: New Moon in Sag- A fresh start, new moons plant seeds of intention, and this one is connected closely with Mercury retrograde - so we may be releasing and reviewing in the area of our chart that contains Sagittarius. There is also a square with Saturn, asking us to ground down and put some boundaries and structure into our manifestations.
💡Dec 5: Mercury Cazimi 9:17pm 14° Sag - When Mercury joins the Sun - it’s called a Cazimi - an illumination of what’s on our mind - like a light being turned on in a dark room, we may become aware of thoughts, patterns, behaviors or insights that we simply couldn’t see before.
⚠️ Dec 6: Mars Rx in Leo - Another retrograde! December we slow way down when Mars stations retrograde in Leo. Mars is ambition and how we project our energy into the world, so don’t get frustrated if things don’t seem to working out. Use this time to take a break, do review work, or plan and brainstorm.
🌕 Dec 15th: Full Moon in Gemini - Think back 6 months ago to what was happening in June - what kind of intentions or themes were present? There is a culmination happening in this area of your life - shed, celebrate and (for the sake of Gemini) - communicate!
🔜 Dec 15th: Mercury stations direct 3:56pm 6° Sag - Mercury finishes up it’s quick retrograde and for the next few weeks we get to find more clarity in the areas we were reviewing and hopefully we some easy travel for the upcoming holidays!
