Happy April! I hope you’ve been feeling grounded and staying hydrated this eclipse season! Mercury stationed retrograde in Aries on April 1st so we’ve got a lot of wild card energy. This month may start off a little chaotic, but the astrology will ease up later in the month as we shift into Taurus season.
Aries season is all about fresh starts and bold action. As we transition in the seasons, we also begin a new year on the astrological calendar. Eclipses have been on the Libra/ Aries axis for a year now, we are in the middle of a lesson in the realm of how we relate and how we balance interdependence with independence. Add Mercury retrograde into the mix for a fully detailed review of how and where we take action and assert our energy. Chiron has been in Aries for over a year helping us to heal wounds around our confidence and Venus and Mars will also join the party, so it’s going to be a fiery month!
Be as open as possible to new opportunities and pay attention to what your relationships, partnerships and collaborations are reflecting back to you. Every situation is an opportunity for deep internal reflection. This is a great month to show up bigger and badder than ever, we are learning (as my daughter says) to “step up for ourselves” - which I love because advocating for our own needs in any situation really is a step UP!

This month is all about how we collaborate. We will review the patterns, relationships and partnerships that work, and the dynamics that do not. This is a month to refine and redefine our roles in said relationships. How do you want to show up? What fills your cup? What is draining you? The more we can release, the more we will create space for new opportunities. Mercury retrograde is the time to review and make changes, trust the process and come back to divine love. When you feel uncertain, lean on your spiritual practice or the rituals that bring you back to the heart.

This new moon we will find some clarity through self reflection. They say all relationships are mirrors that show us our light and our pain. What are you seeing now? Queen of Swords always reminds me to come back to my logic when I’m feeling emotional and to come back to my boundaries when I am stuck in resentment or bitterness. What is it that wants to be seen and heard? Sometimes we continue to look for recognition in all the wrong places. You have a special talent and gifts that are meant to be seen, just make sure to course correct if you find yourself in a place or relationship that does not value what you have to offer. Reflect on how far you have come on this journey, we are in the middle of a lesson here, and there is no doubt you’ve made big changes in the past year. Bring gratitude for all that has shifted and also remember this is not how the story ends.

Scorpio likes to go deep, so let this full moon be a cleansing of any illusions or delusions you’ve had, especially in terms of what you imagine for your future. Check your beliefs and what you’re telling yourself is possible. This really feels like a month where we are getting super clear on the steps we need to take to turn our visions into reality.
